The life of the Foundation...
 

The Association was created in December 2002.

Our purpose is to honour and perpetuate the memory of Mary Cassatt.

The Association “Les Amis de Mary Cassatt” was created by a group of Mary Cassatt ‘s fans. Mary Cassatt lived for thirty years and died in her castle of Beaufresne.

Today there is not a lot of the painter’s life in the castle witch is today a centre of education for teen-agers… It is to create an interest in Mary Cassatt life and art that we decided to create the association in her adoption country.
